The Azerbaijan Library Development Association was founded on April 22nd in 1999. The main purpose of the association is:
to organize the library activity in the country in
accordance with our local traditions and world standards,
to ensure the constitutional rights of the visitors to freely use all the available information resources,
to develop the material and technical base of the libraries, as well as to protect social and professional rights of the library staff. |
